Venturing is part of the program of the Boy Scouts of America for young adults, men and women, between the ages of 14 (having completed the eighth grade) and 21.<ref name="28-406"> Template:Cite book</ref>
Its purpose is to provide positive experiences to help youth mature and to prepare them to become responsible adults. Sea Scouts is the nautical oriented organizational option within Venturing. || ||
