The RBS Partnerships Wiki (AuxBWiki) is a forum for sharing your ideas for promoting the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary's Recreational Boating Safety (RBS) mission. As such, we need your help. If you have had a successful experience promoting RBS cooperation between the Auxiliary and an outside group, we need to hear about it. If you have an idea that you would like to see tried, tell us. This website is for you to share your ideas on recreational boating safety so others might live.
The following provides information about adding to the AuxBWiki. Please remember that RBS Outreach staff will be reviewing content to ensure that it is appropriate for Coast Guard Auxiliary communication, as well as to make the information as useful as possible for the greatest number of people.
It is important to remember that the AuxBWiki is intended to be a source for recreational boating safety (RBS) partnership information. As such the information should presented in a way that will help others successfully reproduce best practices. Language should be simple and direct, using correct spelling and grammar.
In order to contribute to AuxBWiki, you will need to set up an account and login.
There are currently three AuxBWiki model pages:<br />
If you need a different layout to communicate your idea, we should be able to develop it with you.
Once you have a login name and password, you can edit pages on this site using a special “markup” language called wikitext. Don't worry, it's easy to pick up, even if you have no programming or web design experience. If you can send an email, you can edit a wiki. These simple instructions will get you started.
